“Princess, do you need a hand?” Alexis reached out to support the Queen. She leant on Alexis gratefully.

“You’re late,” was all the Queen said in an admonishing tone.

“I got… held up,” there was a cheeky smile on Alexis’ face. She knew exactly what the Queen was talking about.
